The meaning has changed….
I went to the cinema last night to Zodiac (I want to say enjoyable, thrilling is more fitting), anyway, the first scene ended after a horrific icident, the song that lingered and as a matter of fact was playing throughout was…
What I am trying to get here, is that before when I heard this song…which was not regulary, but I do really like it, I enjoyed listening to it. But NOW, it just reminds me of the Zodiac, an American serial killer, not so fun anymore.
The samething happened with The Beach Boys - Good Vibrations it used to be (for me) a happy, fun and sunny afternoon song, that I have sung along to since I was little. Now all I think about is Tom Cruise running around in his own head, freaking out a little!
